How to find your way here. Go north on the E6 from Gothemburg. Exit Stenungsund, follow the signs to Tjörn. After the Tjörn bridge, turn left at the traffic lights and follow road 169 towards Skärhamn. At the Wallhamn crossroad, turn right towards Kållekärr and Kyrkesund. Pass Kållekärr and follow the brown and white signs "Pilane Gravfält" towards Kyrkesund.
Opening Hours. The. exhibition is now closed for the season.
Admissions. Adults 100 SEK. Children and youth under 18 free admission. Season pass SEK 250.
Accessibility. The exhibition area is not a park and it lacks prepared roads. Sturdy shoes are recommended, and wellies for wet rainy weather. Some areas are quite hilly and in order to reach some of the artworks you should have good stamina and mobility. From the central part of the exhibition visitors with less mobilitywill be able to see most of the sculptures.
Dogs. Dogs may also be interested in art and dogs on a leash are allowed to visit the exhibition. Of course, you need to bring plastic bags to pick up any remnants.
Picnic. Feel free to bring your own picnic hamper to Pilane but you may not sit on or next to the sculptures since this would disturb other visitors. Keep in mind that it is absolutely forbidden to feed the sheep.
Security. As a parent you are responsible for your children's safety and that neither the children or the sculptures come to harm. It is forbidden to climb on the sculptures. It is also forbidden to climb on gates and fences surrounding the area. Be aware that the upper part of the fence is energized.
Toilets. Toilets are located in the parking lot and in the farmyard cafe.
